16th NYRA meeting: Speakers

Prof. Ellen Goossens (Belgium)

Prof. Goossens is chair of the research group Biology of the Testis at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel and focuses on cryopreservation, transplantation, and in vitro differentiation of spermatogonial stem cells.

Dr Sarah Martins da Silva (UK)

Dr Martins da Silva is a Consultant Gynaecologist based at Ninewells Assisted Conception Unit, Ninewells Hospital Dundee. She is experienced in all aspects of subfertility investigation and management and has an active research program focused on male infertility, sperm biology, and drug discovery.

Dr Nina Neuhaus (Germany)

Dr Neuhaus is the group leader of the Germline Stem Cells Group at CeRA. Her research focuses on male infertility and fertility preservation of immature testicular tissue.

Dr Eoghan Cunnane (Ireland)

Dr Cunnane is a lecturer in Biomedical Engineering and Principal Investigator on an ERC Starting Grant at the University of Limerick. His research focuses on translational biomedical technology.

Prof. Herman Tournaye (Belgium)

Prof. Tournaye is the Medical and Scientific Director of Brussels IVF and a Professor at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). His research focuses on spermatogenesis and testicular stem cells.

Dr Callista Mulder (The Netherlands)

Dr Mulder is based at the Amsterdam UMC in the Netherlands. Her research focuses on the development of safe and effective reproductive therapies for individuals facing challenges in conceiving through conventional means.
