17th NYRA meeting: 12th-13th April 2025, The Netherlands

The 17th NYRA meeting is organized by the Network for Young Researchers in Andrology (the young arm of the European Academy of Andrology) as a satellite event of European Testis Workshop 2025, in the Netherlands.


The 17th NYRA meeting is taking place from the 12th to 13th of April 2025 at De Ruwenberg, the Netherlands, as a satellite event of the European Testis Workshop 2025. During two days, our goal is to bring together early-career researchers and leading experts in Andrology to establish networks and promote an exchange of methodologies and expertise in the field of Andrology and Reproduction.

As in previous meetings, the delegates will have the opportunity to participate in workshops focused on transferable skills and networking. Finally, participants will be invited to a networking dinner, offering an exceptional opportunity to deepen connections and engage in meaningful interactions.

Registrations are open until February 21st, 2025 (23:59 CEST). The registration fee includes one night of accommodation with breakfast on April 13th, a packed lunch on April 12th and 13th and a Networking dinner on April 12th. Coffee breaks, attendance at all scientific sessions, and unlimited use of fast-speed WiFi internet and free on-site parking.

De Ruwenberg is a special hotel where you can stay overnight and hold meetings. A special conference location, ideally suited for meetings, conferences, product presentations, hybrid events and conferences. Or just for a few days of relaxation in combination with a visit to ‘s-Hertogenbosch or beautiful cycling and walking routes.

Public transport
From the station ‘s-Hertogenbosch you can take two different bus lines. Take bus 306 towards Uden. After 11 minutes (4 stops) you get off at the bus stop Sint Michielsgestel, Gestelse Poort. Then you walk 1 kilometre via the Hoogstraat and Duifhuisstraat to the Ruwenbergstraat.
Or take bus 156 towards Eindhoven and leave the bus after 26 minutes (18 stops) at the bus stop Sint Michielsgestel, Ruwenberg. Around the corner, you will find the Ruwenbergstraat. The walking distance from this bus to Hotel De Ruwenberg is 400 meters.
You will find our estate in the Ruwenberstraat. This is clearly indicated by nameplates.

To travel by public transportation in the Netherlands, you can easily check-in and out using a contactless debit or credit card or a card on your phone. For added convenience, consider downloading the OVpay app.
For train travel, you can purchase tickets through the Dutch Railways website or directly at the ticket vending machines located at train stations (note: tickets purchased at vending machines may be slightly more expensive).
For bus travel, you can also use your contactless debit or credit card. Alternatively, single-fare tickets can be purchased at the Arriva OV Service Point at Stationsplein 6, 5211 BB ‘s-Hertogenbosch.
We recommend visiting the Dutch Railways, website and downloading their app for the most convenient train travel experience. For combined bus and train journeys, the general public transport website provides comprehensive travel information and planning tools.

Auto
The Ruwenberg Hotel – Meetings – Events is located 5 kilometres from the A2 and ‘s-Hertogenbosch. If you travel via the A2, you can take exit 22 Sint-Michielsgestel, and then drive via the Bosschebaan/N617 towards Sint-Michielsgestel (signs to Schijndel/St. Michielsgestel/Den Dungen). After 3.5 km, take the 1st exit at the roundabout to the Hoogstraat. The Hoogstraat turns into the Sint Michielsstraat. At the T-junction, turn right and drive on the Ruwenbergstraat. Our estate is on the left.

Electric charging points
De Ruwenberg has several charging points for both cars and bicycles. For cars, these are located past the barrier straight ahead, at the back of the parking lot. For bicycles, you will find the charging points at the bicycle shed, to the left of the entrance at the detached annexe.
